The posed + lifestyle newborn session is for the family that wants variety in their gallery. We get a mixture of those precious curly newborn photos in props and then we switch it up and get lifestyle photos of y'all together just being a family! This session is held in your home (or studio if you prefer) when baby is between 4-14 days old.
The session includes
A 2-3 hour session at your home or a studio (rental fee is not included). Indoor sessions will be between 10am-2pm for the best light
45+ edited images in a downloadable online gallery with additional print purchase options available
Complimentary use of my props and my amazing client closet so you can worry less about what you will wear and focus on the good stuff!
$550 + tax

This session is meant to capture those first days of bringing baby home and all the newness that comes with it! We do the session in the comfort of your own home (or studio if you prefer) when baby is between 4-14 days old.
The session includes
A 1-2 hour session at your home or a studio (rental fee is not included). Indoor sessions will be between 10am-2pm for the best light

The Fresh 48 is for the family who wants to capture those first moments with baby! Whether you birth in the hospital, at home, or in a birthing center, I will come to you so you don't miss a single thing! We will book your due date as the session date and then once you go into labor, you will let me know so I can come within those first 48 hours. It's magical!

A 30 minute session at the location of your birth capturing those first precious moments with your growing family.

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?
First, OMG congratulations!! Second, You should book while you're still pregnant! Booking in your second or third trimester takes the stress off of you AND your due date gets added to my calendar so I know when to expect your little babe! Once baby is born (or if there is a set induction or cesarean scheduled) you will let me know as soon as you're able to so that we can schedule your session 7-10 days after birth.
WHERE WILL THE SESSION BE?
Most of my clients choose to do their session in the comfort of their home. I mostly shoot in the master bedroom, the nursery, and sometimes the living room. I am always looking for the best natural light, so wherever that is - that's where we will spend the most time!
If you don't love the rooms in your home, we can always choose a studio. There is an added fee for booking a natural light studio. We can chat and see what works best for you and the family!
WHAT IF THE HOUSE IS MESSY?
My clients are always concerned about this and I beg you to not stress about it. You just had a baby and this is your focus right now! Enjoy those sweet baby snuggles! Before the session I do ask that any room that you want to be photographed in be picked up; but know that I will also help and move things off dressers and nightstands once I'm there :)
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
First and foremost, I want you to feel good and be comfortable in whatever you choose to wear! If that's a pretty dress or jeans and a shirt or sweater, great! If it's a simple robe or neutral pajamas, that's good with me too!
As for colors, I think that soft neutrals photograph best to not distract from baby. Think cream, tan, khaki, off white, denim, or any soft earthy tone! Avoid big patterns or bright colors that will draw the focus away from baby.
Speaking of, I bring everything for your baby, including outfits/swaddles/bows. If you have something specific you want them in, that's totally fine too :) I will send a style guide for newborn sessions after you book your session!
can out other children come?
Absolutely!! At my newborn sessions I start with all the family shots and then dive right into the sibling photos so that after that they can be done! Every child reacts differently to having a new baby in the home so it's never the exact same order, but we read the room and see how they're doing :)
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
During the spring and fall seasons my turnaround time is 4 weeks, I will send a sneak peak within one week. During slower seasons my turnaround time will be 2-3 weeks.
WHAT OTHER PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
When you receive your gallery, you will have the option to purchase prints from my preferred professional lab. Your gorgeous new prints will ship right to your front door ready to be displayed in your home!

How does it work?
We can either schedule a time for you to come to my house for a try on or I can schedule a virtual try on where I show you the options and we style from there!
On the session day, I have the outfits steamed and ready to go and you just give them back to me before you leave. Dreamy.
